Conference wrestling matches were held Wednesday around the area. In the Wolverine Conference, Vicksburg hosted Three Rivers, Sturgis, and Paw Paw for double duals. The Wildcats earned two wins, defeating the Red Wolves 53-26 and topping the Bulldogs 60-14. The Trojans were defeated in both of their matches, falling 47-30 to Paw Paw and 61-18 against Vicksburg.
Against the Red Wolves, getting wins on the mat for TR were Ayden Keller, Louis Smith, Jeremiah Detwiler, Jacob Reynolds, Clinton Kaiser, and Jak Monroe. Against the Bulldogs, Wildcat winners were Jak Monroe, Ayden Keller, Drew McClain, Louis Smith, Landon Moreland, Jeremiah Detwiler, Jaxon Smith, Lloyd Ruesink, Jacob Reynolds, and Clinton Kaiser.
Against Paw Paw, Sturgis winners were Lola Barkby, Jace Kaufman, Kaiden Waldron, Juan Pablo Soto, and Ishmael Cruz. The Trojan winners against Vicksburg were Kaiden Waldron, Angel Alvarez, and Ishmael Cruz.
In the Southwest 10, Decatur hosted White Pigeon, Centreville, and Cassopolis for a league quad.
The Chiefs picked up two wins, edging Decatur 42-32 and shutting out Cassopolis 75-0. The match with the Rangers was almost all voids with Mazzy Lambert and Caleb Lane adding wins on the mat. Wins against the Raiders came from Hunter Pant, Drew Johnson, Gavin McGrady, Jesse Fielis, Evan Rudloff, Caleb Lane, Nate Irwin, and Seth Miller.
Centreville defeated Cassopolis 66-10, but lost 53-21 to Decatur. All points against the Rangers were from voids. Against the Raiders, Bulldog victories came from Rockne Hamilton, DeAndre Stout, Lukas Brooks, and Chaseton Wyckoff.
In the SAC, Constantine hosted a tri with Gobles and Lawton. The Falcons picked up two wins, downing Gobles 75-6 and topping Lawton 55-15.
Against the Tigers, the Constantine wins came from Collin Featherstone, Michael Featherstone, Brody Jones, Skyler Locker, Troy Demas, Greg Reed, Bennett VandenBerg, and Jace Vavul. Versus the Blue Devils, the Falcon victores were Jace Vavul, Preston Like, Bear Geibe, Michael Featherstone, Brody Jones, Carter Godfrey, Dathan Smith, Greg Reed, and Bennett VandenBerg.
