Three Rivers’ volleyball team blanked South Haven Thursday night to finish 7-0 in the Wolverine Conference West Division. The Wildcats beat the host Rams 25-15, 25-10 and 25-11 to improve to 29-7-5 this season.
“The girls did a great job tonight,” coach Brandy Stalhood said. “We controlled the tempo of the match tonight. We passed really well and hit effectively. I’m proud of the girls. We set a goal for ourselves in the beginning of the year and made it happen.”
Kalie Cole notched 25 assists, 1 ace and Hannah Landis produced three aces, eight kills, four blocks and nine digs. Molly Hawkins added a pair of aces and nine digs, Carly Nichols finished with eight kills and two blocks, Teagan Reeves posted 11 kills and four blocks, Taylor Schultz came away with three blocks and eight digs and Alexis Herbert tallied eight digs.
And now it’s time for a break for the Wildcats, which are off until a week from Saturday when they travel to take on Coldwater.
