Centreville’s offense just wasn’t clicking Friday in a 39-22 home loss to St. Joseph Valley League foe Bronson.
Skyler Sobeski registered 12 points for Bronson, with Liz Baker and Kinslea Blouin posting eight apiece. The Vikings established a 15-7 advantage heading into the third quarter and found their groove with back-to-back 12-point quarters to close out the win.
Faith Morell scored five points to lead Centreville,
Jenna Beeker and Bailee May notched four, and Becky Clementz, Mattie Kirby and Rudie Crawford all finished with two. Madison Hunter, Annmarie Reed and Catherine Rigby posted one apiece.
May and Hunter both recorded seven rebounds and added a pair of steals in the effort, and Kirby also finished with two steals.
The Bulldogs fall to 2-11 overall and 0-4 in the SJV. Bronson improved to 7-5 this year and 2-1 in the conference.
