The Wildcats improved to 23-6-5 overall this season and 6-0 in the Wolverine Conference after a three-game sweep against Dowagiac Thursday. Three Rivers cruised in the first two games, 25-16 and 25-13, before Dowagiac kept things a littler tighter (25-19) in the third set.
Teagan Reeves finished with 12 digs, three aces and eight kills, Kalie Cole had 13 digs, two aces and 21 assists and Hannah Landis produced nine digs, two aces, six kills an dfour blocks. Taylor Schultz added eight digs, Megan Southland had a pair of aces, Carly Nichols contributed six kills and two blocks, Cheyenne Richardson had three blocks and Alexis Brown contributed four assists.
“The girls did a nice job,” Three Rivers coach Brandy Stalhood said. “It was good to see everyone contribute to the win. We’re looking forward to a competitive weekend in Sturgis.
