Three Rivers’ Masnari & Reeves honored

Three Rivers seniors Teagan Reeves and Linsey Masnari were recognized by the Associated Press for outstanding final years in girls basketball. Reeves was voted to the Class B All-State First Team and Masnari earned honorable mention.

Reeves, who signed to play volleyball and basketball at Western Michigan next year, scored 557 points (23.2 per game) and finished with 322 rebounds. She also notched 54 assists, 117 blocks (4.9 per game) and 50 steals. She holds most of the program’s scoring records and was a finalist for Michigan’s Miss Basketball. 

Masnari shot 49 percent from inside the arc, connecting on 123 of 253 two-point field goal attempts. Masnari hit 8 of 28 attempts from beyond the arc. She was 82-for-114 (72 percent) from the free throw line and finished the season with 352 points. She also registered 43 assists, 207 rebounds, 30 blocks and 29 steals in 24 games this year.
