The Three Rivers High School girls varsity golf team claimed a victory Friday at the Lady Trojan Invitational hosted by Sturgis at Klinger Lake Country Club. The Wildcats penciled in a collective score of 447, led by medalist Holly Hines, who carded a seven-over-par 79 to win by 24 strokes.
In its second outing of the season Sturgis finished second with a 447. Taylor Clark shot 103 for second place overall. Fellow Trojan Taylor Williams finished with a 108, followed by Allison Harker (115), Jessica Griffeion (121) and Allison Herman (141).
South Haven tallied a team score of 468 for third place and Vicksburg only registered three individual scores and did not post a team total.
Three Rivers’ Brittany Klinger (106), Emma Conroy (119), Callie McCloed (137) and Brianna Sternaman (155) rounded out the top team’s scorers.
