The Three Rivers girls basketball team’s trip to Dowagiac made for a competitive game for all of two minutes as the Wildcats scored the contest’s first 20 points Friday and cruised to a 66-21 victory.
Teagan Reeves posted a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds, Linsey Masnari scored 17 points and grabbed five boards and Helaina Heffner finished with eight points for the Wildcats (6-0, 4-0 Wolverine West), which made 26 of 63 field goal attempts.
Five other Three Rivers players scored, including Alexis Herbert, who had six points and a co-game high five assists with Addy Cooper.
The Wildcats forced 14 first-quarter turnovers and Reeves collected 13 of her points in the opening eight minutes.
Dowagiac fell to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in league play.
