A hot Coloma boys basketball team shot 64 percent from the field Monday in a 56-42 win at Three Rivers.
The Wildcats tried to stay in it by sheer volume of shots, hoisting 18 more attempts (50-32) than Coloma, but converted on just 17. As a result, Three Rivers falls to 2-12 overall and 0-7 in the Wolverine West Division.
Alex Cottingham led the team with 16 points and six rebounds, followed by Adam Reed (11 points) and Elijah Hamilton (five points). Trenton Karle and Cam Cottingham chipped in three points apiece and Kyle Walczak and Zak Zagon finished with two.
