Three Rivers placed second at the Wolverine Conference girls golf jamboree Monday at Angels Crossing in Vicksburg with a team total of 217 — 22 strokes behind Plainwell.
Holly Hines secured her ninth victory over the season for the Wildcats with a round of five-over-par 41. Teammate Brittany Klinger posted 46 for a share of third. The two were named to the All-Wolverine First Team. Emma Conroy finished with 64, Callie McLeod carded a 77, Anna Ochsenrider shot 69 and Brenin Booko ended the evening with a 66.
Plainwell edged Three Rivers for the regular-season title and Allegan finished third. The conference championship is at Plainwell’s Lake Doster Golf Club Wednesday.
Hines averaged 39.57 strokes per 9-hole round in Wolverine play. Plainwell’s Maddie Tran had the second-lowest average with 44.29. Klinger was seventh (49.29).
