The junior point guard boosted the Bulldogs after trailing 13-8 after the first quarter.

“Taylor had the game of his life,” Centreville coach Corey Brown. “Both teams played well and the lead went back and forth. Our defense locked down at the right time to help preserve the win.”

Chase Alexander, Jon Peckinpaugh, Matt Clementz and Eli Schwartz each finished with eight points, and Calvin Ludwig added two for the Bulldogs.

Alexander also snared 13 rebounds, Ludwig posted three steals and Taylor and Schwartz dished three assists apiece.

The Bulldogs host Mendon Friday in a St. Joseph Valley League tilt.
