On Tuesday, Three Rivers hosted the St. Joseph County Cross Country Championships at Meyer Broadway Park, serving as a chance for both county supremacy and a final tune up before regional meets this weekend.
In the boys team score, the hosting Wildcats were the event champ with a score of 30. Constantine and Sturgis were both next at 60, then Centreville at 95 and White Pigeon at 116.
“Tonight our boys knew if they ran their race then they should have no problem taking home the win,” said TR boys coach Jason Muckel. “They ran better than anticipated. Our top five ran as well as we could have hoped for and more. This was a nice last tune up as we prepare for regionals on Saturday in Bangor.”
