Portage Northern 15, Constantine 4 (Game 1)
Autumn Nelson gave up seven hits and two earned runs with four strikeouts for Portage Northern. Among her team-high four hits were a double and triple. She drove in seven total runs. Sydney Swinehart had three hits (one double) and 3 RBI, Bayleigh Kamm finished with two hits and a pair of RBI, and Rachel Budnick, Kennedi Stinnette, Autumn Nielsen, Allie Wagner and Kassie Lawrence singled.
Lydia Middleton took the loss for Constantine. She also led the Falcons with three hits (one double) and two RBI. Madi Tulley singled, tripled and drove in two runs, and Madellyn Cullifer and Sydney Balcom had hits.
Portage Northern 8, Constantine 3 (Game 2)
Nielsen scattered five hits and gave up two earned runs with three strikeouts in the win for the Huskies. Sarah Budnick and Swinehart (one double) each finished with three hits. Rachel Budnick and Emily Voss each notched a pair of base hits, and Stinnette (double) and Nielsen had hits. Stinnette led the team with 3 RBI.
Raigan Dumm, Brianna Herrick (double), Kaylee Stears and Maddie Lloyd registered hits for Constantine. Charlee Balcom, Stears and Tulley drove in runs.

Paw Paw 6, Hackett Catholic 2 (Game 1)
Paw Paw used a three-run sixth inning to keep away from Hackett late. The Irish had three hits and one RBI from Audrey Scahu and two singles by Chrissy Redmond. Madison Hasse brought in three for Paw Paw. Audrey Starks and Emma Hasse both scored twice.
Paw Paw 10, Hackett Catholic 7 (Game 2)
The Irish raced ahead with a five-run first inning and held a 7-4 lead after the second. Paw Paw tied the game with three in the fourth and went up with three more in the sixth. Schau doubled and singled for a run and RBI. Emily Wheaton and Stephanie Lyon both scored twice. Colleen McNally and Mary Grace Meadows each added two RBI. Emma Hasse doubled twice and had three RBI for Paw Paw. Maddison Wilder had four hits.
Three Rivers 21, Sturgis 8 (Game 1)
The bats were busy in game one as the Wildcats racked up 16 hits with eight for extra bases. Kali Heivilin homered twice and walked thrice, scoring five runs and four RBI. Jessica Barnes also brought in four via four hits for two runs. Aislyn Sternbergh had four RBI and Karalyn Eldridge added three runs and three RBI on two hits. Sturgis saw a grand slam and five RBI day from Shelby Bennett.
Three Rivers 13, Sturgis 2 (Game 2)
Eldridge was able to clam things down a bit in game two, holding Sturgis to three hits and two runs over her five inning win. Jessica Barnes had a deep fly and scored four runs with Heivilin getting another four runs via a hit and three walks. Brooke Bodi socked a solo homer for Sturgis.

Portage Central 15, Portage Northern 1 (Game 1)
Mackenzie Ruthven allowed one earned run and five hits over her five-inning complete game, striking out seven. Kaitlyn Brannstrom homered and singled twice for three RBI and two runs. Madeline Gruter tallied four RBI on three hits (two doubles) and Becca Cottrell scored four times and doubled twice. Megan VandeGiessen also racked up three hits (two doubles) and three runs. Sydney Swinehart had two hits and the lone Husky run.
Portage Central 12, Portage Northern 1 (Game 2)
Ruthven again pitched the whole game for the Mustangs, getting seven strikeouts with four hits and one run over five innings. Brannstrom homered again, doubled, and singled for five total RBI. Cotrrell scored thrice and Elise Hayward had two RBI with a single and triple. Autumn Nelson had a double and scored the PN run.

Gull Lake 16, Loy Norrix 0 (Game 1)
Lauren Esman pitched three perfect innings in the blowout win, striking out eight of the nine batters she met. She also whacked a homer and walked thrice, getting four RBI. Mandy Esman added three runs and three hits and Elaina Crisman brought in three with a double.
Gull Lake 20, Loy Norrix 3 (Game 2)
The Blue Devils picked up 11 hits and drew 13 walks in game two. Savannah Disbrow scored five runs and added three RBI with two walks and a double. Crisman scored four times on two hits and two walks. Hannah Lord smacked a three-run homer and Betsy Martens scored thrice. Esman pitched another perfect two innings with six strikeouts, then ceded the circle to Sonia Markucki.

Edwardsburg 11, Dowagiac 0 (Game 1)
Ashley Pion pitched a complete game shutout, giving up only two hits with eight strikeouts over five innings. Bailey Anson hit a homer for two RBI. Pion and Hannah Hartline both picked up two RBI and Emma Castelucci scored twice on two singles. Kaitlynne Allen also triples and singled for a run and RBI.
Edwardsburg 14, Dowagiac 1 (Game 2)
Game two went the distance as the Eddies spread out their runs. Carly Tittle and Hartline split the outing with six hits and five strikeouts. Allen hit her second triple of the day, getting three runs on two hits and two walks. Anson added three more RBI and two runs on two hits. Alyssa Gearhart scored twice on three hits. Anna Dobberstein’s RBI double brought in Sierra Carpenter for the lone Dowagiac run.
Parchment 15, Comstock 3 (Game 1)
The Panthers picked up 10 hits and took advantage of seven Colt errors. Maddie Reynolds scored four runs and had two RBI via two doubles and a single. Ashley Jankowski, Grace Fostlin, Jessica Dreier, and Emma Hampton all scored twice. Comstock’s Chloe LaBrie had two hits for a run and RBI.
Parchment 14, Comstock 2 (Game 2)
Dreier, Gostlin, and Sydney Beatty all doubled twice in game two. Gostlin added three RBI and Reynolds scored thrice. Jankowski pitched the complete game for Parchment, surrendering four hits and two unearned runs with six strikeouts. Three of Comstock’s four hits came via LaBrie, including a double.
Colon 3, Climax-Scotts 2 (Game 1)
The Magi held on to a tight contest, getting one run in the bottom of the sixth to reclaim the lead after a Panther run in the top half. Maddelyn Fisher was the winning pitcher, fanning 12 over seven innings with five hits and two earned runs. Jenna Haynes went six for Climax-Scotts with eight strikeouts, seven hits allowed and one earned run. Fisher also had three hits and a run for Colon. Sam Reed scored both C-S runs on a four-hit day.
Colon 17, Climax-Scotts 2 (Game 2)
A 12-run second inning put Colon in control of game two. Katie Walls had four RBI on a triple and single and scored twice. Jade Richards, Brenna Fisher, and Brooke Hinkley each had two runs apiece. Audrey Cooper picked up two hits and a run for the Panthers.

Michigan Lutheran 6, Howardsville 4 (Game 1)
A four-run second inning tipped it to the Titans. Cameron Jones-McNally hit a homer and double for the Eagles, getting two RBI and one run. Alayna Brown pitched all five innings, allowing six runs (five earned) with three hits, four strikeouts, and eight walks.
Howardsville 6, Michigan Lutheran 5 (Game 2)
The Eagles held off a late rally, getting two runs in the first, one in the second, and three in the third. Jones/McNally pitched all five innings, giving up three earned runs, five hits, and three walks with six strikeouts. Lilly Boyer scored twice and Elizabeth Kline picked up two hits. Kayla Hagenbuch drew three walks.
Athens 8, Burr Oak 7 (Game 1)
With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, a Harvey single scored the game-winning run for Athens, which finished the game with 12 hits. Burr Oak had 18 hits in the contest. Abby Greene took the loss for the Bobcats in a complete-game effort. She struck out nine, walked three and gave up 12 hits and six earned runs. Paige Poley had four hits (two doubles), Zoe Lewis registered three hits (one double), and Madison Jennett, Abby Greene, Andrea Nelson (one double), Hailey Carder (one double) and Jennett all had two hits, while Hanna Poley singled. Nelson, Carder, Hanna Poley, Lewis, Paige Poley and Jennett drove in runs.
Burr Oak 7, Athens 4 (Game 2)
Greene picked up the win after giving up nine hits and three earned runs for the Bobcats. She and Zoe Lewis both had three hits. Lewis homered and finished with 2 RBI and Lewis added a double. Carder and Kieyerra Cook added two hits apiece, and Hanna Poley (double), Jennett and Brooklyn Hernandez contributed hits. Lewis drove in two runs, while Greene, Carder, Jennett and Cook had one RBI.
