All-SJV Football Team Announced

The St. Joseph Valley League released its All-League teams Thursday, along with offensive and defensive most valuable players, honorable mentions and special mentions.

Mendon ran away with 12 total selections, including junior lineman Logan Slaughter, who was named Offensive MVP, and senior lineman Derek Zagon, who was voted Defensive MVP.

The Hornets’ Kaleb McCarroll, Jordan Medich, Elijah Klepper, Cole Harrison and Logan Slaughter all made the All-SJV Offensive Team, while Parker Cupp, Kyle Wiswell, Robert Riley, Josh Hawkins and Zagon all landed on the Defensive Team. Tommy Gifford and Danny Cleveland were honorable mention and special mention, respectively.

White Pigeon’s Cole Sellers, Trampus Whitaker and Devin Hoover made the Offensive Team and Chas Rathburn, Matt Eger and Donavon Gremore were selected to the Defensive Team. Dylan Hochstetler was an honorable mention and Shawn Harmon was recognized as a special mention.

Demarco Taylor represented Centreville on offense and Zach Bauman made the Defensive Team. Zach Teadt was an honorable mention and Jonathan Eicher was a special mention.

Bronson’s Kyle Roberts (offense), Skyler Riker (offense), Beau Murphy (defense), Eric Toledo (defense), Sean Kenny (honorable mention) and Daniel McMichael (special mention) rounded out the list.
