Schoolcraft downed Gobles 3-0 in Tuesday’s regional semifinal volleyball at Bridgman, sweeping the Tigers with a 25-13, 25-11, 25-9 tally. Maggie Morris unofficially recorded a team-high 15 kills, pushing the Eagles to 32-3 overall.
Up next, Schoolcraft advances to the regional championship for the fourth consecutive season. The Eagles will shoot for back-to-back titles Thursday at 7 p.m. at Bridgman High School against either league rival Kalamazoo Christian, which you can hear live via JoeInsider.com. Schoolcraft has knocked out the Comets the last three postseasons.
Gobles closes at 4-14 after grabbing back-to-back district titles and graduate seniors Michaela Buxton, Karlee Henderson, and Destiny Woodard.
