Schoolcraft won at home Tuesday 41-32 against Hackett Catholic Prep, extending the SAC Valley winning streak for the Eagle girls to 34 games. The victory also puts Schoolcraft one win shy of clinching a share of the division title for the third consecutive season.
After a 9-9 first quarter, the Eagles held the Irish scoreless for the first five minutes of the second quarter. However, a solid HCP defense kept the score tight despite that with Schoolcraft’s lead at 22-15 entering the intermission.

Adrienne Rosey was Schoolcraft’s top scorer with 12 points off the bench, eight in the second half. Anna Schuppel scored 11, eight in the first half. HCP had 12 points from Emily Wheaton and nine points with 10 rebounds from Krystina Kasson.
The loss drops Hackett to 11-4 overall and 6-2 for second in the SAC Valley standings. The Irish host Galesburg-Augusta Friday.
