Three Rivers smothered visiting Vicksburg Monday night for a 49-21 girls basketball win in Wolverine Conference play, with the Wildcats’ Teagan Reeves finishing with a triple-double in the process.
Reeves and frontcourt teammate Linsey Masnari dominated the Bulldogs, which didn’t score a field goal in the second or third quarters. Reeves scored a game-high 18 points, blocked 10 shots and grabbed 11 rebounds for Three Rivers (7-0, 5-0). Masnari shot 6 for 14 from the field for 15 points and six rebounds.
Alexis Herbert added seven points and a team-high four assists, Alicia Schmidtendorff chipped in three points, and Cheyenee Richardson, Cory Sanders and Alyssa Smith all finished with two.
“I was very happy with the way we played defensively as a team,” Three Rivers coach Jason Bingaman said.
Vicksburg slipped to 1-6 overall and 0-5 in league play.
