Sturgis improved to 16-9 overall and 5-1 in the division.

“I am certainly happy with the outcome,” Trojans coach Bryan Boughton said. “I am also relatively pleased with our season thus far. We are still relatively young and are working through some sickness and injuries at present, so we have not yet seen our strongest lineup. We still need to focus on details and these kids still need to understand how important each match, each, period, and each point are in the grander scheme of a wrestling match. We are doing well, but we can do better.”

Individual results:
103 Jayce Mobley 2-0
112 Alejandro Soto 1-1
119 Zach Solis 0-2
125 Noah Gleason 2-0
130 Austin Smith 2-0
135 Austin Layman 1-1
140 Dale Harker 0-2
145 Zach Mathews 1-1
152 Luke Carver 2-0
160 Cole Campbell 2-0
171 Anthony Neal 2-0
189 Juan Espinoza 2-0
215 Cole D’Haese 2-0
285 Jake Stevens 1-1
