Muskegon holds off Glen Oaks women

The Glen Oaks Community College women’s basketball team fell 54-47 at Muskegon Wednesday.

Slipping to 14-9 overall and 6-7 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association with four regular season games remaining, the Vikings are currently in six place in the Western Division. They have already qualified for the NJCAA Division II district tournament.

Anika Gasich led the program with 13 points and Courtney Moore put up 12 points and nine rebounds. De’Ottia Robinson added 10 points and five assists, with Alaina Schwarz finishing with 10 points.

Glen Oaks hosts Ancilla Saturday at 1 p.m. for the annual Green and Gold game, where all Vikings spring sports teams will be introduced.
