Colon’s girls basketball team hit a snag Tuesday in a 52-35 home loss to Battle Creek St. Philip.
The Magi dropped to 3-6 overall and 3-4 in the Southern Central Athletic Association as a result, while St. Philip moved to 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the league.
“We could not get our offensive going tonight,” Colon coach Sharon Craun said. “Second half was better but we still struggled.”
Anessa Broker finished with 11 points, two assists and a steal, Makayla Craun added 10 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and a steal, and Taya Bower had seven points and four rebounds. Skyler Harvey and Ashleigh Wolf chipped in three and two points, respectively.
The Magi head to Jackson Christian Thursday.
