Brad Brittingham cashed in from long range early Tuesday night for the Colon boys basketball team as the Magi took care of Bronson 67-59.
Brittingham was the engine that propelled the Magi to a hot start, earning the 23-10 advantage after the first quarter. He had four of his five 3-pointers in the first quarter. The other trey came in the second quarter.
He added three more field goals and went 4-for-4 from the field to finish with a game-high 25 points. Brittingham added 12 rebounds, five steals and four assists in his beastly effort.
He was followed by a well-rounded offensive effort that say Logan Vaughn with nine points, Brandon Hinkley with eight and Gabe Keely with seven.
The Magi were able to hold off the surging Vikings, who outscored Colon 28-17 in the fourth quarter.
Spencer Smolarz also contributed on offense for Colon with six points while Billy Vaughn and Bailey Tyler each put in five points apiece.
With their offensive firepower, the Magi were able to downplay its 27 turnovers on the night.
