Magi boys blow out Waldron

Colon’s boys basketball team routed Waldron 82-58 Friday on the road to improve to 6-3 overall and 5-3 in the Southern Central Athletic Association.

Brad Brittingham accumulated 30 points, six steals, three assists and 13 rebounds to lead the Magi. Tyler Schipper posted 12 points, one steal, two boards, Brandon Hinkley had seven points, five steals, two assists, four rebounds, Brett Prell posted seven points and Sepencer Smolarz and Bailey Tyler each added six points.

Smolarz also contributed four steals, four assists and seven boards, Tyler tallied five steals, an assist and eight boards, Gabe Keely recorded five points, an assist and two rebounds, Logan Vaughn scored four points and notched a steal and a board, and Billy Vaughn posted three points, a rebound, one assist and one steal.
