After Saturday’s 69-48 home victory against Ancilla, the Glen Oaks Community College women’s basketball team has won three of its last four games with two remaining in the regular season.
Au’zhane King and De’Ottia Robinson popped in 17 and 16 points, respectively, for the Vikings, which climbed to 15-9 overall and 7-7 in the MCCAA Western Division.
Glen Oaks is tied with Lansing and Muskegon for the fourth spot in the division behind Kalamazoo Valley (14-1), Lake Michigan (13-1) and Grand Rapids (8-6).
Alaina Schwarz also reached double figures with a 12-point, seven-rebound effort. Robinson added five steals, Anika Gasich notched 11 points, Bre Lester had eight points and four assists, and Courntey Moore pitched in five points and seven boards.
A road trip to Jackson Monday and a home game against Lansing Wednesday wraps up the season before district tournament play begins.
