The Lady Eddies were in dominant form against rival Three Rivers. Edwardsburg’s defense caused havoc all game for the Wildcats. The full court press paid off as Edwardsburg was able to come away with several steals and fast break opportunities. The Wildcats turned it over 22 times compared to the Eddies 11 turnovers. At halftime the Eddies led 27-6.
The second half was the same tale as the first. Not until late in the 4th quarter did Three Rivers come to live offensively. It was too little too late though as the Eddies would cruise to a 45-20 victory.
Kaitlyn Zarycki would lead the Eddies with 16 points. Abbey Krugh would go 3 for 9 from the 3pt arc, and scored 9 points. Claire Bartz would contribute 8 points, while Chloe Bartz, Bailey Anson, and Claire Alby eached chipped in 4 points.
The Wildcats shot 24% from the field, while the Eddies shot 36%. Hadley Miller and Alaina Abnet each had 6 points for the Cats. Riley Kelly had 3 points, Kali Heivilin and Jessica Barnes each had 2 points.
