The Burr Oak girls basketball team dropped a 45-31 decision Thursday at Jackson Christian after having trouble with ball pressure.
Jackson Christian took advantage and compiled a 32-11 by halftime.
Jade Summey led the Bobcats with nine points, Hannah Root tallied seven and Michaela Ultz finished with five.
“We had a hard time breaking their press,” Burr Oak coach Jennifer Sutton said. “Turnovers killed us. We did play good defense and held them at a closer margin than the first time we played them.”
Chelsey Boyd added four points, and Tori Everitt, Sydney Owens and Ariel Schwemer each chipped in two.
