The Glen Oaks women’s basketball team won Thursday’s Great Lakes District B semifinal game 73-69 against Terra State. Constantine graduate Hannah Outlaw had a huge double-double with 21 points and 16 rebounds for the Vikings. Zharia Hotobah-During added 12 points and Emma Allison scored 10 points off the bench.
GOCC used a big 19-5 second quarter to take a 32-23 lead into halftime. The Titans managed to reclaim the advantage in the third quarter briefly, but the Vikings had a 49-45 advantage after three and held onto the lead throughout the final frame.

Glen Oaks improves to 17-12, while Terra State closes at 16-8. Up next for the Vikings is the championship game Saturday at 6 p.m. from the Ballenger Fieldhouse in Flint. They will meet Grand Rapids Community College, who defeated Jackson College 74-65 in the other semifinal Thursday. The winner of the District B championship earns one of the 16 spots in the NJCAA Division II national tournament in Port Huron.
