Kalamazoo Valley Community College won both games at home Wednesday in a double-header with Glen Oaks.
After winning 12 straight contests, head coach Steve Proefrock’s Vikings men’s squad fell 88-75. They still boast an 18-3 overall record and 9-1 mark in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Division, which is good for a one-game lead over KVCC.
“Our defense was not good in any of the key areas,” Proefrock said.
Angelos Griffis scored 18 points for Glen Oaks.

On the women’s side, KVCC claimed a 72-54 win, sending GOCC to 12-8 overall and 4-6 in conference play.
Alaina Schwarz registered 20 points and nine rebounds, Courtney Moore posted 14 points and six boards and De’Ottia Robinson finished with 14 points.
Glen Oaks led at the half 31-27 before KVCC produced a run from which the Vikings couldn’t recover.
