The 13th-ranked (NJCAA Division II) Vikings slipped to 20-5 overall and 11-3 in the MCCAA Western Conference as a result and are now a half a game behind Kalamazoo Valley (12-3) for the top spot.

“Critical stops and critical shots did not happen in this game and we got what we deserved,” Glen Oaks coach Steve Proefrock said.

Outscored 25-17 over the final 10 minutes, Glen Oaks squandered a 44-34 halftime lead. Demetrius Adams finished with a game-high 20 points for Ancilla (12-14, 9-6), including a seven-point effort in the final 10 minutes.

Angelos Griffis registered 18 points for Glen Oaks, followed by Aundreyan Roberts (16), Lee Gardner III (14), Quilyn Howard-Upshaw (13) and Joe Beard (11)

The regular season concludes with a trip to Jackson Monday and a home tilt against Lansing Wednesday.
