The Centreville girls basketball team’s season ended in the district semifinal Wednesday at Union City. The Bulldogs fell 45-40 against Bronson, ending Centreville’s season at 10-12.
“I’m proud of the girls for how they played tonight and all season,” said Bulldogs head coach Jill Peterson. “This group plays hard, together, and I’m impressed with how they carried themselves on the court day in and day out.”
“They represented Centreville well even though the win didn’t come on the scoreboard,” added Peterson. “These seniors will be missed; they were a lot of fun to coach and I can’t wait to see what comes next for all of them.”
Bronson improves to 14-7 and faces Reading in the district final Friday at 7 p.m. from Union City.
