Unbeaten Vicksburg dominated Sturgis for a 57-9 girls basketball win Friday. The Trojan girls drop to 2-9 with the loss and the Bulldogs improve to 10-0.
“We came out flat tonight and turned it over early and often,” said Sturgis coach Jeremy Bucklin. “We can not afford to be flat! Second half we picked up the effort and did a better job of handling Vicksburg’s pressure. We had another rough night shooting the ball. I felt we had good looks we just rushed them”
The Trojans head to Otsego Tuesday and the Bulldogs host Niles.
