Three Rivers rolled Sturgis 62-33 in conclude the girls basketball regular season Wednesday. Senior Kali Heivilin posted a career-high 31 points and snagged 10 rebounds and six steals.
“We were able to jump out early and control the game from the inside even through some foul trouble in the first half,” said Wildcats coach Jason Bingaman. “The girls are excited for our opportunity next week and we need to have a good few days of practice.
TR finishes the regular season at 11-2. They next play in the 5 p.m. district semifinal at Dowagiac next Wednesday against either Dowagiac or Niles.
The Trojans close at 3-9 and meet Lakeview in next Wednesday’s 5 p.m. district semi at Coldwater.
