Plainwell beat Sturgis 62-23 in girls basketball Friday evening. The orange Trojans fall to 2-16 while the blue Trojans move to 8-7.
“We started the game flat and turned it over too many times,” said Sturgis coach Jeremy Bucklin. “We did play better in the second half, it was just too much to overcome. We struggled to get good looks at the basket.”
Sturgis heads to Harper Creek Monday and Plainwell hosts Watervliet.
