Centreville dropped a road girls basketball game Monday 51-36 against Hackett Catholic. The Irish improve to 9-6 with the non-conference win, while the Bulldogs drop to 4-8.
“It was a tale of two halves today,” said Centreville coach Jill Peterson. “Our attitude and effort were much better in the second half and it also showed on the scoreboard. I’m proud of how we turned it around and hope we can build momentum into the next two weeks full of games.”
Both teams have a short turnaround with Tuesday games. The Bulldogs head to Marcellus and Hackett hosts Allegan.
