In a low-scoring affair Friday at Constantine, Hackett Catholic survived for a 27-23 girls basketball win against the Falcons. The Irish close the regular season at 14-8 with the victory while Constantine ends at 3-19.
The Falcons host Union City in the first round of district play Monday at 7 p.m. HCP plays in the 7 p.m. Wednesday semifinal at Decatur against either Lawrence or Eau Claire.
