In Friday’s girls basketball regular season finale, Comstock escaped with a 36-29 road win over White Pigeon.
“We lost a really tough physical game tonight,” said Chiefs coach Jeff Baechler. “We played hard but the shots didn’t fall.”
White Pigeon closes at 3-17 overall and 3-15 in the Southwest 10 Conference while the Colts wrap at 8-12 and 7-11 in league play. The Chiefs play district host Union City in the first round Monday at 7 p.m. Comstock plays Monday at 7 p.m. against Parchment in a district hosted by Paw Paw.
