Centreville picked up a 48-42 girls basketball win at White Pigeon Thursday evening.
“The girls played hard tonight and for all four quarters,” said Bulldogs coach Jill Peterson. “Even though we trailed early 16-10 after the first quarter, we finished the half on 15-3 run going into the break. We had many people step up today in various roles in helping get the win tonight.”
“Tonight we played with a lot more passion than we did on Tuesday,” said WP coach Brooke McClure. “I am proud of how hard we worked, however, we got into some foul trouble that hurt us.”
Centreville moves to 2-6 overall and 2-3 in the Southwest 10 while White Pigeon drops to 4-6 and 3-3 in conference play. WP hosts Constantine Monday and the Bulldogs host Bangor Tuesday.
