Burr Oak girls basketball wrapped up the regular season Friday with a 46-30 victory at Tekonsha. The Bobcats finish at 9-10 and Tekonsha closes at 2-17.
“We have grown tremendously as a team this year and I love to see the success we are having on and off the court,” said Burr Oak coach Brittany Norton. The Bobcats enter the postseason having won six of their last seven games.
It’s a tough postseason draw for Burr Oak as they face Mendon at 7 p.m. Monday in the first round of districts at Athens. Tekonsha drew a bye and faces the host Athens in the semifinal Wednesday.
