Glen Oaks bowler Ethan Lindsey claimed MCCAA league titles in bowling last Friday in Livonia, setting numerous notable milestones in the process. Lindsey won the singles men’s title with a three-game series of 742 and earned the all-events champion with a combined 1910 score between singles, doubles, and team competition. Both the series and combined score are conference records.
Lindsey is also the first Glen Oaks Early Middle College student to participate both for the Vikings and at the college level since the conference opened up eligibility to high school students enrolled in Early Middle College programs.
In 2021 for Burr Oak High School, Lindsey was the MHSAA Division 4 state champion and in 2022, he was a state semifinalist.
Glen Oaks bowling competes at the NJCAA Region XII Championships Friday at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing. The NJCAA National Championships are March 2-4 at Airport Lanes in Cheektowaga, New York.
