Edwardsburg eliminates Constantine girls in district semi 69-42

Constantine’s solid season was ended by Wolverine Conference power Edwardsburg Wednesday as the Eddies won 69-42 in their district girls basketball semifinal from Dowagiac.  With the defeat, the Falcons finish the season with a 10-6 record.

Four seniors will graduate from Constantine’s squad; Leah Dumm, Hannah Outlaw, Madisyn Tulley, and Elizabeth Wyman.   Dumm led all players in defeat Wednesday with 20 points.

Edwardsburg improves to 10-3 and faces conference foe and defending district champ Three Rivers in the championship Friday at 6 p.m. from Dowagiac.   The Wildcats won their lone regular season meeting 50-39 back on March 1.
