In Monday’s first round girls basketball District #116 game at Mendon, Marcellus came away with a 34-30 win over Burr Oak. The Bobcats took a seven point lead into halftime, but the Wildcats battled back by winning the second half 22-11.
The Bobcats season ends with a 5-15 record. The Wildcats (10-11) advance to Wednesday’s 7 p.m. district semifinal against Colon. The other side of the bracket at 5:30 p.m. has the district host Mendon facing Howardsville Christian.
