Constantine lost a three-set volleyball match Tuesday at Schoolcraft, falling 13-25, 15-25, 16-25 to the Eagles.
Schoolcraft improved to 9-0 in the Kalamazoo Valley Association and Constantine dropped to 5-4.
Lexie Harrison recorded eight kills and 10 digs, Zoe Jones finished with nine digs and Jessica Mallo posted seven kills, seven digs and two blocks for the Falcons. Cassie Wentela added 14 assists and Kelsey Potter had two aces.
“Schoolcraft is a very sound volleyball team that runs a very quick offense,” Falcons coach Niki Tulley said. “We had a lot of trouble blocking and speeding up our defense. When we hit the ball aggressively, we have great success, but tonight we started second guessing ourselves and it caused us way too many hitting errors. These girls know what they are capable of, and we are looking forward to our KVA tournament Saturday.”
