Constantine’s girls basketball team was within striking distance heading into the third quarter, but host Kalamazoo Christian pulled away in the second half for a 38-19 victory.
The Falcons were down 14-8 at intermission before the Comets added another seven points to their cushion coming out of the break.
Michelle Smith registered six points, Ashley Loose and Amber Andersen had four and DeShea Payton finished with three for Constantine. Payton led the team with eight rebounds, Loose grabbed six and Dylan King added five. Both Smith and King notched three assists, and Smith and Potter paced Constantine with five steals.
