Constantine’s boys basketball team suffered a 72-41 loss Tuesday at Galesburg-Augusta as the search for the program’s first victory remains ongoing.
“Galesburg was very physical and we didn’t respond to the way the game was officiated,” Constantine coach Chuck Frisbie said. “[They] absolutely killed us on the boards and in the post the entire game, which was the difference.”
Austin Kinser and Perry White scored 11 points for the Falcons, with Joey Steiner adding seven points. Cody Ley added five, and Luke Mullendore and Jon Doering each finished with four.
The Falcons only turned the ball over 12 times but were just 14-for-46 (30 percent) from the field.
Mullendore led the team with seven rebounds (six defensive) and White finished with two steals and two assists.
