Colon volleyball falls to Olivet

October 14, 2013 By Wes Morgan

Though the Colon volleyball team wasn’t able to get by visiting Olivet Monday night, the Magi were able to celebrate Parents’ Night despite the 25-14, 25-22, 25-22 loss.

Senior middle hitter Makayla Craun paced Colon offensively with six kills, six blocks and an ace, classmate Isabel Vigil finished with two kills, five aces and a block and Cole Anna Clemens tallied 10 assists and a kill.

Magi coach Crystal Delp said Vigil, senior Sarah Hutson and junior Bailey Clipfell were the defensive standouts of the night. Colon takes the court again Thursday at North Adams-Jerome.
