North Adams-Jerome visited Colon Tuesday night and left with a 45-33 victory in Southern Central Athletic Association girls basketball action.
Even with one of their more balanced efforts of the year, the Magi fell to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in league play.
Makayla Craun turned in 10 points and nine rebounds to lead Colon, followed by Taya Bower (seven points, two rebounds) and Skyler Harvey (six points, four rebounds). Morgan Czajkowski totaled four points and a pair of boards, Anessa Broker added four points and Kali Tyler finished with two.
“Despite the lost the girls played the best together tonight as a team than they have all year,” Magi coach Sharon Craun said. “Anessa did a very nice job bringing the ball down the court and Makayla and Taya did a very nice job down low for us. I am very proud of the this team tonight.”
