The Coloma softball team won both games of a Wolverine Conference doubleheader against Three Rivers Thursday.
Starter Madi Cornish pitched 5 2/3 innings for Three Rivers, which lost Game 1, 10-1. Cornish surrendered four earned runs on 14 hits, striking out three batters.
Taylor Schultz had the team’s lone single.
With a 4-0 lead through three innings, Coloma survived a four-run fifth inning by Three Rivers to win the second game, 7-4. Teagan Reeves took the loss after giving up four earned runs on 11 hits. She struck out one batter and walked none.
Reeves finished with two hits (one double), Brittany Klinger had a single, and Emma Conroy and Anna Ochsenrider doubled. Brionica Bennett also had a single for the Wildcats.
