Centreville picks up Week 1 opponent

August 26, 2013 By Wes Morgan

Welcome To Centreville
The Centreville High School varsity football schedule was in danger of dropping to just seven games after Covert (originally the Bulldogs’ Week 1 opponent) dropped its program and Week 4 opponent Bellaire recently switched to 8-Man football.

But late last week, according to Centreville coach Aaron Hartong, the school added a trip to Bridgman Thursday to open the season. There’s still a chance the Bulldogs can find a Week 4 opponent to fill out a nine-game schedule, but it’s unlikely at this point. Eight games, however, keep Centreville eligible for the playoffs.
