Centreville’s offense ignited in the second half Wednesday and the Bulldogs pulled out a 57-49 boys basketball win over visiting Lake Michigan Catholic.
DeMarco Taylor, Matt Clements and Chase Lebarre each dropped 15 points on LMC, which had a 23-16 halftime lead. Centreville (4-5) outscored the Lakers 22-11 in the third quarter and pulled away for a 19-15 advantage over the final eight minutes.
Lebarre and Clements had co-team highs with five rebounds each, John Peckinpaugh, who scored eight points, grabbed four steals, and Taylor and Kalvin Ludwig both had three assists.
Jordan Gest contributed four points and Eli Schwartz chipped in two.
