The Centreville boys basketball team lost 66-55 at Bridgman Tuesday.
With a five-point lead entering the second quarter, Centreville’s offense deflated and the Bulldogs were outscored 26-7. Bridgman, which knocked off Mendon in overtime the previous night, would make it a 22-point cushion going into the fourth quarter.
The loss drops Centreville to 6-11 overall.
DeMarco Taylor and Chase LeBarre each finished with 14 points to lead the Bulldogs, followed by Matt Clementz, who had 11 points and a team-best eight rebounds. Jon Peckinpaugh added six points and Chase Alexander netted five. Kyle Ludwig and Eli Schwartz contributed with three and two points, respectively.
