The Burr Oak girls basketball team went on the road Friday and held Litchfield to single digits in every quarter for a 35-28 victory.
Michaela Ultz scored 11 points and Jade Lown and Jade Summey each posted eight to counter Litchfield’s Hayley Jones, who registered a game-high 18 points. Hannah Root added four points and Chelsey Boyd and Tori Everitt chipped in two apiece for the Bobcats, which improved to 3-6 overall and 2-5 in the Southern Central Athletic Association.
Katelyn Wheeler scored 10 points for Litchfield, which was outscored 12-6 in the fourth quarter.
“Good to have a win on the road,” Bobcats coach Jennifer Sutton said.
