BROADCAST PREVIEW: Hackett Catholic hosts Parchment for boys basketball

January 13, 2020 By Jordan Slocum

Listen live online via JoeInsider.com Tuesday as Hackett Catholic Prep hosts Parchment in boys basketball.

It will be their first meeting on the hardwood since the 2014-15 season during their final year as rivals within the Kalamazoo Valley Association.   The Panthers and Irish will be conference foes again starting next season with Parchment leaving the BCS league for the SAC.

Hackett sits at 3-3 overall, 2-1 within the SAC Valley.   They returned from break with a 53-26 loss Tuesday at Schoolcraft, then bounced back with a lopsided 59-26 win at Galesburg-Augusta.

Parchment is 2-3, 1-1 within the BCS.   Tuesday’s game will be their first of 2020, as they didn’t have a game last week.   The Panthers did play over winter break, falling to Ottawa Hills (85-50) and Redford Union (59-46) at the Earl McKee tournament in Benton Harbor.

You can listen to Tuesday’s game via the embedded player below with tip listed at 7 p.m. ET, although it may begin later due to the prior JV game.
